Returns and Exchanges

To return an item, please send an email to customerservice@thecordbutton.com with the following information:

  1. Order # - this can be found on the packing list that accompanied your item in the box
  2. Product # and product name
  3. Reason for return
  4. Action desired - i.e. return, exchange, store credit

Once we receive your email, we will send you a return authorization# to write on the outside of the box.

Important

  • there is a 15% restocking fee applied to strollers, highchairs and furniture
  • we cannot refund shipping costs and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer
  • we are not responsible for the return shipping, so for your protection use an insured and traceable shipping method for your return
  • you may not send it back COD
  • if you return an item that received free shipping, you will receive a credit or refund for the purchase minus the shipping costs
  • Custom made-to-order items are final sale and may not be returned
  • sale and discounted items may not be returned

Once all information and merchandise is received, we will return credit on the same credit card used for the purchase. If a gift card was used, we will issue you a new one. It may take a few days for the credit to show up on your statement, so please allow a few days once the return has been approved.

What happens if an item is damaged upon arrival or was incorrectly shipped?

We hope that this will not happen, but if you receive the wrong item or it is damaged, please send us an email at customerservice@thecordbutton.com and we will work with you to fix the problem. If you prefer, you can also reach us in our Baltimore location at 410-276-5437.

Return Policy

The Corduroy Button offers a return policy that extends 30 days from the date of purchase. With an original receipt, store patrons will receive store credit or a full refund on returnable items. All returns are subject to the approval of our customer service team. Returned items must be unworn, unused and have the original tags and packaging intact including manuals, instructions and registration cards.

Custom Orders

All custom made-to-order items are final sale. We cannot accept any cancellations or returns of these items. Production times on these items may vary and are noted in the product descriptions. If for any reason these lead times are delayed, we will notify you immediately.

All custom order must be paid in full when the order is placed.
